I've never participated in this before, but I came out of lurker-dom to post this year. I've been leaving comments this morning and it makes me feel like a good deed ninja elf. :3
So go post, it's a really sweet meme and I'm glad I'm already glad that I participated.

I know I said ages ago that I'd be on top of keeping updates going but it just hasn't happened. I'm taking fewer credits this semester but somehow I have less free time, I'm so busy. I'm graduating this year so I have all the craziness that goes along with that. I have a few updates edited and ready to go but I haven't had time to write commentary and get everything uploaded.
Another roadblock is my laptop, which is dying a slow and painful death. I haven't played TS2 in months, and I haven't played the Reves in even longer. The game runs so slowly and the gameplay is so jerky that it's a chore to play, so even when I do have time to play I don't feel up to it. I'm planning on getting a desktop computer over the summer so I'll be able to play without cringing. I'm considering uninstalling all the TS2 stuff now  so that everything else will at least run faster for the time being.

Basically I have 2 weeks of class left, then finals week, and then graduation, so nothing will get posted at least through then. I feel bad for not updating but I haven't forgotten the community or the game, I just really haven't had time to be involved with anything else except school and work. Once I graduate I have plans for work and a living situation so things should calm down, at least for the summer.
Right now I just want to graduate and be done with everything. -__-

Today one of my friends posted this on Facebook, and I have some thoughts and mocking that I feel the need to vent.

Since it seems like all the kids these days are doing it, I left a comment in the Holiday Love Meme over at allthingsimlish. I think this project is a really cool idea, I didn't hear about it at all last year so I'm glad I got in on it this time - I've already left a few comments. ^_^

I thought this would be a good time to update about Sims-related things as well...I honestly don't have time to update the Reves at the moment because this semester at school has thoroughly kicked my ass, but I have loads of pics that will get posted. I'm hoping to take some time over winter break (which is just a few weeks away omg) to get them together in an update, or two or three. I haven't opened the game itself in ages but I'm looking forward to having some time for it relatively soon - my class load will lighten significantly next semester but I'll also have a thesis to write and it'll be my last semester of undergrad. o_o

Basically I've been away for a while because of school but I'm planning a comeback so watch out. >_>

It's been brought to my attention that the download link for my Sim model, Althea, is borked. Stupid Mediafire. Unfortunately, in my last game explosion I didn't save her template because I thought "oh, I can just download her again," which of course was a bad choice. Long story short, I don't have her anymore and if anyone would care to upload her I would be extremely grateful!
A cool related thing is that sims_by_izza  is going to use Althea in her face template project, which sounds like a really neat project altogether.
